Dealer is Apple Honda in Riverhead, NY. I brought the vehicle in for a check because of a sharp drop-off in mileage and I could not loosen the screws to check the air filter. Also, front end had suddenly become very noisy - this after an approx 3000 mi. trip. Bearings were found to be worn and both 'hanger' bearings in transmission (left and right) and right drive axle bearings were replaced (possibly right drive axle, too, but am not sure). Original complaint re air filter - filter was described as 'marginal' and I question if it really was replaced when it should have been at 30,000 miles. Regardless, dealer gave me a loaner car without my asking and repaired the problem to my satisfaction. This is my 2nd Odyssey - 1st was a 2000 model with minimal problems when I traded it in at 87,000 miles. I still like the 2005 Odyssey very much, but time will tell. I am considering a 2009 Pilot next, but might go for a Toyota Prius instead if gas continues to sky rocket.
