Driving in typical city environment and the power steering became non-responsive. Honda dealership then replaced the power-steering pump reservoir (this is the 3rd reservoir during the lifetime of the van). Original power steering pump reservoir installed at build date, 2nd installed in Dec 2006.
"hole" in condenser. Appears this is a known defect with Honda Odyssey 2005 model, but no recall. Will cost $900 to repair. Defroster does not work properly unless repaired. Dangerous to drive in rainy/icy weather.
On Honda Odyssey 2005 model year (potentially other model years too), the flawed placement of air conditioning condenser in the front without any protection cause condenser to fail upon impact from road debris flying into it. When condenser fails and leaks, light smoke is observed. This is a potential fire hazard, not to mention up to $1000 cost incurred to replace the condenser and fix the ac system. Honda needs to fix this design flaw for its customers by either shield the condenser or move it to a location less susceptible to road debris impact. There is no justification for exposing this vital part...
Multiple issues and incidents. Overall significant cooling system design flaws combined with tow package install mistakes leave the cooling lines un-secure and unprotected. 2 ac line punctures, 5 power steering grinding repair attempts to no avail.

2005 Honda Odyssey has problems with the back up sensor system. The consumer stated the manufacture uses a small high frequency speaker at the tailgate. The consumer stated it doesn't serve a purpose for those with a frequency hearing loss or if the consumer inadvertently turns it off.
