I had my car park at work. At 4:30 when I was leaving work I walked to my car opened the drivers door. I closed the door and heard a window shatter and it blow out of the car for no apparent reason. The window that shattered was the passanger sided sliding door. I call the dealer and they said that glass was not covered under the warrenty by Honda. I called Honda and they said that the dealer should have looked at it to determine if it was a defect. It sounds like they are playing the blame game. I had the university police write up an incident report and have pictures of the window right after it happened. I am having to replace the window tomorrow 5-6-04 and will cost approx $359.
The truck was parked inside a parking lot without physical contact with another vehicle. The right passenger side window shattered. Police came for the investigation. There were no injuries. The dealer is aware of the problem.
