AC went out during a "vacation" in Florida...in July. Drove home in 99 degree temps and 100%? humidity. After about six hours of driving with the windows open, on the interstate, gulping Gatorade, were greeted with a monsoon with almost zero visibility and cars pulled off everywhere. The temperature drop was heaven sent for us, so turned on flashers, rolled windows part way up, and kept going, saying "Thank you Jesus!" This "vacation" was almost as fun as the one where the throttle body went out in southern Iowa, had to be towed to Illinois (in the middle of the night), ended up in a hotel where we were introduced to the joys of bedbugs. Honda tried to send us on our way with a new EGR valve,, and it was only after I read the codes pulled up when I had had it checked at an independent garage, that they would repair the throttle body. Needless to say, will never buy another Honda!
