The mounting brackets on the lower part of the driver's seat in the front broke. The driver's seat now will go into the recline position when accelerating. This is not a problem associated with the power seat function, but, rather broken metal straps on the seat mount itself. This could cause loss of control if the driver wasn't aware of the problem and prevented it from reclining during acceleration by pulling against the steering wheel.
The vehicle is well over it's warranty but come one...a seat failure, how often does something like that happen? I think Honda should stand behind it, regardless of the mileage. The car has never been in an accident.
