The consumers vehicle experienced symptoms of the sliding door latch recall (00V-119000) but the vehicle identification number was not included in the recall. Updated 7/2/12
The vehicles sliding doors malfunctioned and caused the door not to open from inside and sometimes not to open from the outside. The dealer was notified and repaired the problem but it re-occurred.
Automatic sliding door on driver's side does not open at all when handle is used. Must open from inside or via remote. Doors make buzzing sound intermittently advising that doors are ajar even when closed contact pads have been replaced, yet problem continues. Sometimes door will not close fully. It closes, attempts to latch and then re-opens partially. Other sliding door has similar issues to a lesser extent. Lots of other diverse issues.
After the sliding doors were closed, the door chime would sound off while driving. Both rear sliding doors did not latch and the doors would unlatch while driving. Ph scc
Rear sliding door sticks and is hard to open door for consumer to enter or exit the vehicle. Dealer notified, this problem has been repaired 6 times and the seals have been replaced 3 times.

While driving buzzer goes off to indicate sliding doors are open. There was recall 00V119000, but this vehicle was not affected due to VIN. Vehicle has been taken to dealer 3 times, cannot remedy the problem.
The right side sliding door was on recall and the manufacturer replaced it. After the recall was done the consumer gets the emergency signal that the door was opening while driving at 65 mph.
My mini-van experienced the same problem as the defect described in NHTSA campaign id number: 00V119000. However Honda did not do recall on my vehicle.
There have been repeated problems with both power sliding doors jamming and being nonfunctional. The doors also frequently set off the alarms within the vehicle claiming that the door is open with the car in drive, yet the door does not show "open" on the indicator panel on the dashboard. There have been 8-9 attempts by the dealer to repair this problem and yet, it continues to recur. The Honda regional service manager has been involved (greg bazil) and Honda corporate has been contacted for help with engineering solutions. Nothing fixes my car.
Sliding door fails to open from handle on inside and outside without applying great force to handles, preventing occupants from entering and existing vehicle. Consumer has contacted dealer.
Sliding door would intermittently open while traveling. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop on six occasions, and the problem still reoccurring. Vehicle back in dealer shop for seventh time for correction. Feel free to provide us with any further information concerning this matter.
Two sliding doors will not stay shut mostly on driver's side. This happens when going over a bump. Cosnumer has been to the dealer 6 times for door opening, and problem has gotten worse, door opens while driving.
The left hand side passenger sliding door sticks in the closed position, 2 door latch assemblies have broken, dealer stated parts were on backlog due to other vehicles experiencing the same problems, the right hand side door has been stubborn, but has not snapped a latch yet. Nlm
Passenger side automatic sliding door fails to latch properly, dealer has not been able to permanently fix, driver side automatic sliding door also fails to open at times.
