This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
When driving in snow-when trying to brake a loud grinding noise of the brakes is heard -it takes a very long time to stop meanwhile the vehicle is continuing to move for unsafe distances. Brake pedal takes a long time to fully depress. These problems are not encountered in dry conditions. I drove other family members cars on this same day with no problem. There seems to be a problem with the ABS system on this vehicle. I am afraid to drive this vehicle in the winter. These brakes are dangerous. I bought this car as a Honda certified used vehicle and replaced the tires after the first episode at the end of last winter-now with the first snowfall this year-same problem.

Please contact me so I may mail or fax the long history of defects on this vehicle. Currently I wish to address the unsafe brakes on this vehicle. Thank you
When driving at any speed and applying the brakes, brake pedal goes down slowly to the floorboard, and vehicle is still moving. Two 0-rings in master cylinder have been replaced but pedal still goes down.
Whenever vehicle hit bump sounds like sliding door is ajar. The brakes sound like tractor trailer. Took to dealer & mechanic changed the lining on brakes.
At 1500 miles loud squeaking noise was coming from front wheels. Dealer notified and repaired both rotors/replaced both pads. Later on, brought vehicle in for routine oil change, and asked them to check the brakes. Dealer found cracks in pads, ,which were replaced. Later on, reoccurring squeaking noise was coming again from driver's side front wheel. Can NHTSA help in this matter.
