This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I had just pulled into my parking space at work, my foot was the break pedal. I could of been in park, but cannot remember. It happened that quick. All of a sudden I heard an acceleration noise and my car was moving forward. I could not react as I did not understand what was happening. I hit a cement wall.
My local dealership has not been able to fix my recall issue with the passenger seat weight sensor for the airbag and all they said for a remedy is have people sit in the back and to wait in the mail for when the part is in stock. I am a college stupid who has to travel 18hrs to get to college. how am I suppose to drive comfortably knowing the sensor may not work in the chance of an accident happening. It is sad that I am not able to fix this recall issue since it was made aware in early February.
Honda dealer refuses to fix Recall. Dealer at Arrowhead Honda at 8380 W Bell Rd, Peoria, AZ 85382. Service advisor Grant Foster informed me that because the vehicle has a Restored Salvage title (unrelated to mechanical and electrical components) they will not fix the recall.
Driver's side mirror melted. This is defective material. Honda is aware of this defect as per complaints, posts, blogs etc. Honda should disclosed this known defect to potential buyers prior to closing any sale, as it is a costly defect/hazard and requires abnormal parking criteria without guarantee of prevention. A reasonable person does not expect for exterior parts of their auto (an item meant for the outdoors) to melt in sunlight. A reasonable person does not expect to be restricted as to where to park a vehicle to avoid it melting. Had I been informed of the inferior quality of materials used in the manufacturing of this vehicle I would have purchased something else. This is outrageous and unacceptable. A auto is a huge investment.
Multi-information display, including the fuel gauge, will malfunction (due to cold temps?) and produce a blank screen or else illegible text. Issue began a few months ago and will usually resolve in a minute or two, but has been getting progressively worse.
