Battery died. I had to replace the battery. A month later, car would not start. I towed it to Honda. They said it needs new starter. I bought a Honda for reliability. I have been stranded twice already. They will replace starter for $865.00. This is crazy. Bought the car brand new. I could have been stranded anywhere with no solution but to get car towed. I have read of this same problem with other Honda models over the last five years. Battery goes and then soon after the starter goes. A starter really should last 10 years at least should it not? On a car of this quality? I have read where people replace the starter and then within six months starter will have issues again. Something about the design of the car causing the starter and battery to crap out. What do I do? I am so mad.
Thanks.
