A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

RED TEMPERATURE LIGHT CAME ON BLINKING DROVE A LITTLE FURTHER AND IT STAYED ON SOLID. SO I CALLED ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE AND THEY TOWED IT TO MY DEALER. THIS IS A LEASE VEHICLE AND I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER LEASED HONDA CRV. DEALER CALLED ME A DAY LATER AND SAID THE RADIATOR WAS LEAKING AND WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE COST TO REPAIR WAS $697.

I ASKED IF THEY OR HONDA COULD OFFER ANY CUSTOMER CARE ASSISTANCE AND WAS TOLD NO. I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED AND REPAIRED AT A SHOP THAT HANDLES MY FLEET VANS. TOTAL COST OUT OF POCKET WITH A NEW RADIATOR TOE AND LABOR WAS $ 448. THE PLASTIC PAN ON THE BOTTOM, UNDER THE ENGINE DOES NOT PROTECT THE RADIATOR. IN MY OPINION POOR DESIGN. NOT MUCH PROTECTION FROM THE FRONT GRILLE EITHER. AS THE LEASES ARE UP I WILL HAVE TO PERHAPS LOOK AT OTHER PRODUCT LINES. HONDA SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THEIR LOYAL CLIENTS. I FEEL THAT THEY JUST BRUSHED ME OFF AND COULD CARE LESS. OTHER THAN THAT THE ONLY OTHER GRIPE IS THAT THE TIRE LIGHT IS ON AND I CHECKED THE AIR IN ALL 4 TIRES AND THEY ARE CORRECT AND ALL THE SAME. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS A WHEEL SENSOR AS I HAVE NEVER HAD TO FIX OR CHANGE A TIRE.

I AM DONE
