The contact owns a 2016 Honda Fit. The contact stated that there was condensation in the headlamps. The vehicle was taken to young Honda (1855 N main St, logan, ut 84341, (435) 222-0589) where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was operating as intended per service bulletin: A-15-060C (exterior lighting). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and the contact was informed again that the vehicle was performing as intended. No further assistance was offered. The contact was concerned that as per fmvss108, page: 718 under humidity test procedure, that the vehicle failed to meet vehicle safety standards for headlamp manufacturer. The approximate failure mileage was 26,500.
