belt grinding against coolant hose

A hose that I think is for the cooling system appears to have sagged down far enough to be contacting a belt drive near alternator. This has to have been grinding against it for some time, as there is a noticeable texture difference between where it contacts, and the rest of the hose.

Had the wife snake a zip-tie to a smaller hose (smaller hands) to give it some clearance. If unaddressed, this could be a dangerous failure down the road.
