While driving my 2013 Honda Fit, the radio cut off, headlights dimmed, dash board lit up with a steering wheel and exclamation point, and I lost power steering for a few seconds. I took it to the Honda dealer in Jasper Alabama and they could not get the car to replicate the issue and sent me home with a charge of $100. A week later the car started doing it AGAIN, but this time it was way worse and the dash lights would flicker, radio shut on and off, and the steering wheel with exclamation point warning light came on again and now the check engine light is on. My power steering is lost.
This is a common problem in the Honda Fit, all years, and Honda needs to recall this car. It is very dangerous to lose power steering while driving on a highway. I wrecked my car. Error code says P0685. So far Honda dealer services has been unable to find the problem and are charging me $110 per hour to find the problem and I am in a rental car. I don't make that much money to pay for this. And my car only has 75,000 miles on it! There are several complaints and videos on you tube regarding this issue, and Honda is ignoring it. It's a VERY UNSAFE CAR TO DRIVE - RECALL IT HONDA!!!
