The contact owns a 2011 Honda Fit. After the vehicle was started, the vehicle accelerated independently. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked vehicle. A police report was filed. The passenger's forehead encountered the sun visor and sustained a cut. The driver sustained injuries to the neck. Medical attention was not received. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 18,008.
The contact owns a 2011 Honda Fit. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle with the gear in park, the vehicle exhibited sudden acceleration. The vehicle jumped the curb and crashed into a building. There were no injuries and a police report was filed. The entire front end of the vehicle was badly damaged. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The vehicle was not inspected to determine the cause of failure.
