The contact owns a 2010 Honda Fit equipped with dunlop SP31 tires, size P175/65R15. Upon starting the vehicle a "tire pressure" light illuminated on the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where he was informed the low pressure was due to climatic changes. The tires were then filled with air to the proper tire pressure. The failure has since recurred twice, every 4,000 miles. The failure mileage was 4,000 and the current mileage was 12,500. Updated 01/25/11 the consumer stated he purchased 4 new tires.
