My Fit made grinding noises when braking, clicking noises when turning right but Monroe Brake found no problem, Honda Utica car did not make noise, they found no problem, said may have been sticking due to rust. 120 miles into a trip on thruway, noises going down the road, louder, car started shaking and thumping increasing badly. Slowed and made it into rest area and let it cool, thinking brake problem. Continued trip to Peekskill with lessened noise and thump but still continuing. I wondered about CV joint/axel or other front-end problem. Next morning Honda Yorktown Heights, car make clicking noise on right curve on way to dealer, but made no noises or thumps on test drive. They found no problem. The car makes mild noises and thumps still, but nowhere near as severe as it as 5/27. What is going on? How can I trust it? 50,000-mile warranty end getting close!! Any suggestions about what to do now?
