The paint only fades where it is over metal. No fading of painted plastic bits, bumpers, door handles, etc is occurring. Not all metal surface display the same degree of fading. Sunlight seems to have some importance as the door openings are not fading, but the door is. If the entire car was affected I would not complain, but plastic parts are totally free of fading. Something is not right.
