The driver's side sun visor on the 2007 honda fit sport I bought brand new has gone bad only after less than 56K miles on it. Also the sun visor clips have cracked and I have had to replace them a few times. I took it to dealership and all they offered was to replace the visor for nearly $80 and the clips for about $9 each.
I never had this problem with any other car, Honda or other brands, and I do keep my cars for more than 10 years.
I had a 1981 hatchback Honda accord (bought used) that after more than 150K miles and 16 years of driving never developed any problems with sun visors or other accessories.
I am posting this to find out if there are other Honda owners / drivers who have come across this defective parts.
