Came out to my 2005 Honda Element this morning and the driver's door would not open. Noticed dark film on the window. When I opened my passenger door the cause was apparent. The door panel had caught on fire and melted the door panel and dash. Fortunately, no one was injured and the fire extinguished itself.
CR-V had a recall on the master window switch for this year....should have likely included the Element.
