Proud owner of a 2003 Element with 115,800 miles. Has always been and still is a great car.
The only problem I just had was the right seat airbag busting out for no reason and hitting a friends right arm.
I was just backing out of the driveway, no bumps no rough pavement nothing.
I am writing this to let Element owners know that this is a real problem. If someone older, like the 90 year olds I drive around had been in the seat they could have been seriously injured.
This is something that needs to be looked into and everyone with the Element should talk to their Honda garage, although they are saying the car is old. I believe that should have nothing to do with the correct operation of the airbags.
