This issue started to occur while I was under warranty. I took videos of it occurring each and every time it happened and showed my dealership, which led to them... not doing anything about it. I finally had enough and forced them to take a further look, in which they could not duplicate the problem so nothing was ever done about it. It was almost like they knew of the issue, sold me a defective car, yet weren't going to own up to it or do anything to resolve the issue.
I took it into another mechanic shop and they could not identify or reproduce the problem. Doing my own research I found the ESB and brought it to my dealership, in which they attempted to repair the issue, but it still exists. I've complained so much that I feel it's fallen on deaf ears so I've given up. I'm now out of warranty, still have a little less than $5k to pay off on the vehicle and cannot wait to get out of this car. I really wanted to love this car as it's served me very well with the space, and ability to transport my kayak, but I'm just completely frustrated with the whole starter situation. Luckily I have not been stranded anywhere as the car eventually starts, but I'm sure it's a grim possibility that it can happen.
