CarComplaints.com Notes: For the 2013 model year, the Crosstour got a facelift and the more-efficient (albeit terribly named) "Earth Dreams" engine. While the newer model now gets better MPG, you're not going to be able to ride for long considering they did nothing to address the terribly uncomfortable seat.
We were told to replace the starter so we did. $800 later, still same problem. We tried everything. Pumping the brakes a few times, putting it in neutral first. Obviously there’s a manufacturing defect.
Based on the number of starter problem complaints, Honda should compensate all Accord and Crosstour owners buy providing a voucher to get their starter and ignition relay system rechecked out at the local dealership.
A month ago the problem has occurred. And now every day I have this problem. I`m not able to start engine. Starter is running with some noise (please see video). Dealer said that it is the problem with relay. So ordered and waiting for replacement. Has somebody same problem?
