CarComplaints.com Notes: For the 2013 model year, the Crosstour got a facelift and the more-efficient (albeit terribly named) "Earth Dreams" engine. While the newer model now gets better MPG, you're not going to be able to ride for long considering they did nothing to address the terribly uncomfortable seat.
Head restraint is so bad no concieviable seat position, suggested by the delaer, will provide relief--I find 50mm space (2'") Is considered allowable and would provide enough relef to make the vehicle usable.
Contact with the agency has only brought, after some serious complaints, admission that there have been a few complaints by others, and they would see if any after market restraints are available.
All other suggestion , remove the restraint or turn it around would work but would also deny the safety I thought I was buying.
I have the obviously outdated opinion anything I buy should be adjustable to me and should not require redesign of my particular configuration.
