This is now the second time I've had to replace the IMA battery on my Civic. The first time was under warranty (BARELY, 98k miles), and I had to argue with the dealership to get it replaced, but they ended up doing it for free. It just went out again for the second time at 184k miles so I'll be looking into my options. Its crazy to me that I've had literally 0 other issues (besides a small heat shield issue), but this expensive battery can't last 90k miles. Age of the battery is about 2 years.
Update from Aug 20, 2021: Diagnosed a little more thoroughly (and dug through honda service bulletins) and found that its the Intelligent Inverter unit (cost about $850 shipped). Honda extended the warranty out to 150k miles but mine falls outside that range. If this helps anyone, the OBD2 codes were: P0A27, P0AE1, adn P15A5, and the service bulletin can be read here: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10184658-0001.pdf
