In the morning when I start out driving everything is fine. When I drive into a shady area the auto light sensor switches to night driving. The mape goes dark and the dash display darkens so that I can't read it.
When you get back in the sun everything goes back to normal. The problem is that in the city you are constantly driving into areas of shade. When the display darkens you can barely make out the dash readings. I think this a hazardous situation. I have not been able to find out if there is an adjustment.
