Called dealership, asked me to bring it in. Was called and told there were no error messages when computer system checked. Also, was told that no problems were seen during test drive. They asked permission for head mechanic to drive home. Permission given, but he was unable to reproduce the problem.
After driving for 2 days, the problem occurred again-it rolled forward when in reverse and I let my foot off of the brake. I was near the dealer and called; they encouraged me to bring it in. After waiting 30+ minutes I was told no one could ride along. Then, two technicians consulted and I was told that this is "normal" for my car-due to the type of transmission. I was told that I could leave it for another test drive. I took it home and have left a message for the general manager.
IF this performance is normal for my car, then it should be easily seen/reproduced when driven. This problem began during late summer.
