Sun visors have cracked and both have fallen off. I have attempted to clip them back together, velcro them to the head liner, etc. Nothing has worked. I will need to replace them myself at this point which will be well over $100.00.

When I saw there was a recall on the visor and Honda dealer said they would not fix it and the warranty would not fix it I was very disappointed in the company. The year of my civic hybrid is a 10 and the recall was only for a 2006 to 2009 . But it is the same problem and then when I heard how much the visor was, 85.00 and 40 for labor, that was crazy. Its just 2 screws holding it in. That's 125.00 !!! While I was there Looked up the visor on their web site and found it for 45.00 for the part and asked if they would match it and the lady said no!!! I was even more shocked.

Super glue held for 1 month at most. To replace per blogs need to order online at around $40 each and install myself or pay dealer $80-$100 a piece.

Having the visors hanging in front of my face, as they will not stay up against the car roof, impedes sight line both to the front and side if I am looking to the passenger side of the car.

There was a class action that covered with extended warranty up to model year 2009. I am interested in tagging on a new one for 2010 forward. It is my understanding both from bloggers and the dealership that Honda did not change the visor to make it better so if you replace the same issue will occur again.
