The driver seat has, over time, become lower and lower. The seat become more and more uncomfortable causing sciatica and numbness in my legs. I had to add a pad to sit on in order to drive the car.

The seat in this car has caused me lots of pain. I have tried removing the poorly placed lumbar support, adding a heating pad, adding a lumbar support, adding seat pads -- I have tried probably five different ones.

I am finally deciding to get an aftermarket seat installed, because at $2,000 it is still cheaper than selling back the car.

I mostly love the car otherwise, but I can't keep driving it this way. Somebody online wrote that this car should come with a referral to a chiropractor.

I tried having this done professionally: http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/diy-answers-28/how-fix-lumbar-lump-2008-accords-hurt-your-back*-37122/

This didn't work: http://www.amazon.com/Obus-Forme-Ergonomic-Seat-Black/dp/B000FJS6KC

Nor did this: http://www.amazon.com/Tush-Cush-Orthopedic-Seat-Cushion/dp/B000AQE2EY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425934856&sr=8-1&keywords=tush+cush

In the end I got this for the seat http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QZ6JFO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and this for the back http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029XA4S4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and a heated auto seat cushion.

I am still in pain and looking into aftermarket Recaro seats.
