I had been waiting for months for a Honda EX. I had requested colors of White or Morning Mist. I finally got a call from the salesman saying "it" was in. When I arrived at the dealership, he showed me a dark grey 2022 Honda Civic EX. I said the last communication I had with him was when I requested Morning Mist. He said it was this color or nothing unless I wanted to wait another few months. I leased the car.
I never drove the car and didn't know about the idle stop "feature." It's become a real because I never think to turn it off when I first start the car. After it happened a few times, the engine started feeling erratic when it did start up again.
I called the salesman today and asked how I could disable it permanently; he told me it can't be done.
I really wish I could let them take it back and go to something other than Honda or Acura. Thank you.
