Bought a 2021 Honda Civic sport new from the dealership. The car had roughly 700 km on it. I drove it for a couple days (short distances and not over 100mph) and noticed the grinding noise. When I finally got it out on the highway, I immediately noticed severe vibrations and pulsating when applying the brakes. I contacted the salesman and he thought perhaps it was just rust and to give it some time. The noise and the vibrations when applying the brakes only got worse. Finally I contacted the dealer to have a look. All pad and rotors needed to be replaced. I asked how a car with only 700 kms could need this repair so soon. The reply was "we don't know" and "Honda parts are made cheap these days"!
How does something like this happen? I just need some kind of answer that makes sense. I'm feeling like somehow I bought a brand new "lemon" and am destined for continual issues with this car.
