I am extremely irritated, I went to the dealership when I had my 2018 Honda Accord and told them how my Apple CarPlay screen would turn black and beep really loud. They just had my car sit there for 4 hours and came back to me blaming it on my phone.
It got to the point where I was done and thought it was just that headunit. I got a 2020 Honda Civic and three months later I have the same issue. If I click on a different app and try going back to Apple Maps the screen turns black for 10 seconds. I factory reset it and 3 minutes later it still did it.
The computer went out while driving. I don't feel safe with this brand new car. They say they are going to put in a new computer but it's is on back order. What the hell, I don't want the car now. What if it goes out on me again and causes me to wreck?
With it being on back order, what does that tell you - it happens a lot. Oh, I just got a call from them. They say they are going to take a computer out of a car they have on the lot, now I have to wonder - is it new are not? Thanks Honda for nothing - just take the car back and let me get away.
