Had to take car to leather shop and they removed battery cable and unplugged the drivers seat and reinstalled it after fixing. Picked car up and the android head unit said anti theft system, lost power hold down button for over 2 seconds , pressed button and nothing tried everything and nothing. I took car to Rockwall Honda in Rockwall Texas and their concern was if I'd purchased the car there or not and I might have to pay if they find any aftermarket things under the hood etc. They took it back and after 20 mins they came back and said it would have to be brought in next week and were too busy with PDIs getting customers cars just bought ready for delivery. I'm in process of setting up appointment with a real service department (HONDA OF FRISCO, TX) where I bought it.
I also have spoke to a consumer rights attorney concerning Honda flashing my ecm for a "recall" which ended up locking me out of my administrator privileges and the ability to turn off GPS. So the satellite is flashing always. I am very android savvy so I got into the unit via WiFi and there is a TELEMATICS TELEMETRY system app on all these Hondas and its the same as what they install on fleet vehicles to monitor their location. The information is uploaded for Honda by another company and to be used as they see fit. Problem is, my car wasn't this way when I bought it and only after they installed China's software for a bs recall did I get forced to give up my privacy and without notifying me they were doing so. Its also a way that Honda can keep up with their asset in case you don't pay but its a privacy breach of massive proportions and just think, a foreign country knows where every American in the U.S is at any given moment if they chose to inquire or keep up with your behaviours. Everyone should be aware.
