This the third time the collision braking system activated with no traffic or vehicles around. The collision alert system activated on the dash with red warning of collision with no one or object in front of me. The lane steering system also has problems where in tight traffic it will activate warning when turning a bend with 4 lanes of traffic adjacent to my my vehicle. I consulted the manual to disable both of these systems to gain better peace of mind. I will notify my dealership when I take the car in for its first oil change. In my option being a computer programmer the system is not ready for prime time.
Also I took the vehicle in at 2700 miles to have the software update concerning the gas error warning on the dash. It seems the update worked ok but still uneasy with the sensor problem.
