Occasionally the infotainment will blink on and then off, sometimes completely off. When I start my car, the music blares for a second before it stop and goes back to the normal volume I had it at. This happens even if I turn the volume all the way down before turning my car off for the day. Has nothing to do with heat, as I have read - or the sun blaring directly on it. It's happened at like 6-7 am in winter when the sun wasn't even up yet.
The only solution I have found once the screen starts blinking on and off or turns black is to turn my car off and then back on and it usually resolves itself. Not too keen to take it in, as the last time I went to a Honda Dealership for an oil change - they banged my car up and swore it wasn't them and that it was already there. Told me they'd check their cameras and call me back to follow up and nothing. I also waited for hours in the lobby because nobody care to let me know they were done with my oil change....
