I am writing because I am so disappointed in my 2019 Honda Civic EXL. I was hoping for a wonderful, fun experience and have received quite the opposite. The seats are incredibly uncomfortable. I am 5'3" and weigh 116. The bottom seat slants down putting pressure on the lower back and the back support seat has bolsters that cut into my back pushing my shoulders forward while the headrest pushes my head forward. I am aware of the seat adjustments and have tried every position conceivable. I leased the car on July 20th, 2019 at Joyce Honda and after about 5 or 6 days have been in constant pain every day. I spend my evenings trying to stretch it out and icing my back. I have been thru about 10-14 various car support cushions trying to make the seats more comfortable with no success. I haven't even taken it out for a long ride. It currently has about 1400 miles on it. Joyce Honda has not been very helpful.Â

I am 66 years old and work very hard at taking care of myself. This car is ruining my back. I don't see how I can drive this car for 3 years, not to mention the permanent damage it would leave to my back. I am currently in physical therapy and other doctors trying to help me find relief. However, it just starts over as soon as I get in the car. I have attached a photo of how it positions my head and that is just a small piece of the seat issue.
I would really like to be released from this lease. I don't care for an SUV or the Accord. Quite honestly I'm very turned off on the Honda at this point. I traded in my Volkswagen Jetta which Joyce gave me $4000 as a down payment. I am asking to please be released from this lease and give me a portion of my down payment back so I have something to put down on another car. Â
