I bought this car and within a couple of months I had a windshield crack. Now, about 6 months later (within one year of owning this new car) I have a second windshiled crack. This crack is over more than half of my windhield. I have owned cars for 33 years and have NEVER had a windshield crack. Now, I have owned this car one year and I have had two. Because this windshield has the integrated controls (lane recognition, cruise control, etc) the windshield is over $1,000 to replace it. IT'S RIDICULOUS. There is something wrong with the way these cars are built to cause this weakness where any little issue causes a windshield to completely crack like this. I will not keep this car.
Update from May 21, 2021: I fixed the windshield and about a month later - it cracked again. I have driven it with that crack to date. I refuse to fix it again. It will only crack again. There is something wrong with this model for it to have 2 cracks so quickly. This is ridiculous.
