Over the past thirteen months, I've been on the horn with both the dealer and Honda USA (Honda USA was very reluctant to return my calls). Fast forward to April 2018 when I am at the dealer for a routine oil change and the dealer informs me that there is a software update for the "Entertainment Module." This, they explain, may improve cell phone connectivity through Bluetooth interface. The update caused my Entertainment Module to fail. So I have lost everything controlled through this module including heat.
It has been unseasonably cold in NY and heat is a necessity. I do not expect this type of failure in a vehicle that is just over one year old. Again I bought a Honda for their reputation of Quality, Reliability and Service. Now I am getting a bad taste in my mouth!
Oh, and the keyless entry just failed again. Hoping I do not need a replacement Body Control Module.
