I have had the vehicle into the dealership four times. Since no sensors go off, Honda says there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. The cabin air has to be kept on recirculation or the fumes get pulled from the engine compartment into the cabin. The fumes are heavy minutes after driving and parking in the garage and are especially strong during colder weather and are emitted on the passenger side behind the engine.
This would not be as bad a problem if the car was parked outside but we live in a northern state. Honda won't admit to the problem even though people with 2016-2018 Honda Civics, CR-V, and some Accord owners have had the same issue. No problem - no resolution they say. If they (Honda USA) would just be truthful about the issue, I would have saved 3 nasty dealership service appointments.
