2016 Civic Touring, auto brakes with on coming traffic was duplicated at dealer, I've adjusted multiple times, but it still brakes on its own with cars coming in opposite direction. I turned the system off, dealer said to turn system off, but Honda not replacing the system.

Honda has had my car 45 out of the 70 days I have owned this car. They said they cannot fix this issue at this time and that I simply had to "just deal with it." Will NEVER buy a Honda again after how I have been treated.

I AM 81 YEARS YOUNG AND BOUGHT THIS HONDA CIVIC TOURING CAR BECAUSE HONDA SAID IT HAD A FRONT END COLLISION SYSTEM. IT ALSO SHOWS THIS SYSTEM ON THE BILL OF SALE ETC. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND CALLED HONDA, THE COMPANY. THE MASTER MECHANIC TOOK MY CAR AND OTHER NEW HONDA CIVIC TOURING CARS OUT ON THE ROAD , SCARING ME HALF TO DEATH TRYING TO GET ANYONE OF THEM TO FUNCTION IN A FRONT END COLLISION SITUATION, THEY ALL FAILED THE TEST DRIVE !

THE DEALERSHIP SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AND TRIED TO GET THE COMPANY INVOLVED WITH NO LUCK. HONDA LIED TO ME AND TO THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE FLAW IN THEIR FRONT END COLLISION SYSTEM AND I HAVE NO WHERE TO TURN. CAN YOU RESEARCH THIS, BRING PRESSURE ON THE COMPANY AND HELP ME GET SOME RESOLUTION ABOUT A VERY SERIOUS FLAW HONDA DOES NOT WANT TO ADDRESS.

I HAVE THREATENED TO LEMON LAW THE CAR. THE DEALER SHIP SAID THAT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO WAY OF PROVING OR DISPROVING IF THE SYSTEM WORKS, THEY WILL REFUND ME A THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR THE COST OF THAT ITEM AS FOUND ON THE BILL OF SALE ITEMS. I SAID OK BUT, IF I HAVE AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THE FAULTY SYSTEM, THAT HONDA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR IT AND I WILL SUE BOTH YOU AND THE HONDA COMPANY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY UNDERSTOOD.

CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHAT I SHOULD DO AND, WOULD YOU PLEASE FOLLOW UP A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT HONDA IS TRYING OT AVOID TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR. THIS IS NOT AS BIG AS THE TAKATA AIR BAGS HONDA USES IN THEIR CARS BUT A LOSS OF LIFE , IS A LOSS OF LIFE!
