The effect of the interior rear view mirror on the sloped rear glass gives it a super out of focus, funhouse mirror effect, making it useless. A car passed laterally behind me and I could have sworn it was a shape-shifting submarine. It reflects in many different directions but not straight back, thus kicking up all sorts of refractions. Don't look at it for more than a split-second or you'll get an eye strain headache.
