While driving my 2015 Honda Civic I noticed a strong electrical smell suddenly. I pulled over and proceeded to check the outlet plug which had my phone charging. My phone and the charger were both extremely hot to touch. I reported this to my dealership while having another issue looked at and they didn't help me at all. They basically tried to tell me that maybe it could be an aftermarket charger etc.....which was not the case. After that incident I had to replace my cell phone because it was pretty much fried. Not sure if the car caused this but I've never had something like that happen.
