On al SR149 "green springs highway, " southbound, less than 500 feet from the oxmoor rd intersection, in the right lane, I hit a pothole with my front passenger tire. I did not notice the pothole while driving, but that didn't stop it from knocking the wheel out of allignment and bursting the tire. I had to use the emergency tools to change the tire on the side of I-65 after my TPMS sensor went off. If I had not decided to buy a spare tire months ago, I would be set back at least $150 dollars. Please be more vigilant in ensuring safe driving conditions in the future.
I was driving home and suddenly hear a whirring noise. I'm sure I didn't hit a bump or pothole at the time. The whirring kept going as I was trying to get closer to my home, then all of a sudden my car started wobbling from back and forth. I tried to make it as close to home as I could, but when I finally pulled over, I saw the tire completely exploded and was torn off the car, so I was basically riding on the rim. The tire tire off my fender liner as well.
The front driver tire had been replaced twice in less than a year. The first time it exploded on my wife in the freeway. The second time it keeps going flat and we keep on putting air. The tires are new and we rotate it when due. The interesting part is that it only happens on the left driver side and when we rotate it, the problem is still on the same spot. This had been a problem and we got this car new. Honda states ai meed and alignment when I first brought it there for oil change. Car has 5000 miles and my wife drives it.
He came up behind us he tailgated us for a little while and then we go to pull over or move out of his way and he jumps in front of us stomps on his brakes brake checked us pulls out again after driving forward and then drives to the side and started going off on us say he doesn't do nothing he can do whatever he wants to it doesn't matter and jared and dangering a baby and a pregnant woman. I was required to slam on the breaks to avoid collision which also caused car behind to do the same. Call vehicles in motion. 104th and Colorado.
TPMS warning light comes on repeatedly after two attempts by an independent tire dealer to fix. Honda dealer reprogrammed TPMS software and the problem recurs after approximately two hundred miles of driving on the highway when the tire pressure has been verified to be normal.

TPMS dashboard warning message. After every six miles the screen has a TPMS warning message. Tire pressure is correct. Alignment is correct. After resetting the TPMS to recalibrate, the message turns on again.
Beginning the day I bought the car, the check tire pressure light has come on at least 2-3 times a month. I have brought the car into a Honda dealer for service each time to check tire pressure, which has 98% of the time been fine. They have done 2 computer software upgrades, the first of which seemed to help for a few months, but then it came back on; the 2nd time it was upgraded, the light came back on the next day. I recently left the car at the dealer for 8 hours and they found nothing wrong with it, but said it was a small discrepancy in the tread of the tires - one tire had 4/32 of a tread and the others had 5/32. However, since the light has been on since the day I bought the car and the tires were then new, this is obviously not the problem. In other words, they have no explanation and no fix for the problem.
The tire pressure warning comes on even through the tire pressure is correct. When one tire had a blow out, it was totally shredded, and the car was driven about 1 mile to a safe location, the tire pressure warning did not come on. Based on our experiences to date, the light seems to come on after about 50-100 miles of highway speed driving.
Rotated my Firestone affinity touring S4 tires at 11,500 miles and immediately noticed they were very noisy and an ever slight vibration in the steering wheel. Went to my local Honda dealer and was notified that one of the belts had broken on one of the tires and was only a matter of time till it blew out. I am now fighting with the dealership to have the tires replaced as I do not feel safe after reading the other claims listed here. Shame on american Honda motor co. For putting such junk tires on a vehicle.
The low tire pressure has been on since I bought it last sat. 11/15 bought it from hertz and didn't come on until about 3 days later there is a recall JD8 for this but it says no open recall on this car
The tires are constantly losing air pressure. The tmps sensor goes off about once or twice a month and one of the tires will be about 5+ psi low and one or more of the others will be 1-2 psi low. It is never the same tire and every time it goes off I check all of them and re-inflate all to the correct psi. There was a recall on some 2014 Honda Civics for this issue (caused by an issue with the tire attaching to the wheel), but not all of them. I think that all 2014 Honda Civics need to be recalled for this issue and fixed. As mentioned in that recall announcement, the decreased tire pressure can cause increased incidents of accidents and is a safety issue.
Tires keep losing air pressure. Put air in the tires and light comes on again within a few days. Mileage registers lower when light is on as well. Mileage will go from 30 mpg to 20 mpg. Has been a chronic problem since purchasing the vehicle. Constantly losing air pressure.
Air pressure on my front passenger tire has been low since a month into the purchase of this car. The alert only went off once, but when I got the tires refilled, the tire still seemed flat. I just let it be because no further alerts came on. But I was in an accident and slipped on snow the other day and hit a curb, which deployed my airbags. I do not think that if this tire was defective I would have gotten into this accident. I was going around 10mph, as I was pulling out of a parking lot.
Tire pressure monitoring light comes on every couple of months. Checked tires and pressure everything is ok have to reset., then is ok for awhile this is very annoying have to pull over to check ever time.this can be unsafe at times. Honda calls it TPMS light.
My daughter driving from her place going to school, approximately 5 minutes back and forth every regular school days. All a sudden, blow-up the front right tires. The car is only 3 months old. Its good thing it not happen in the freeways. Dealer from merced, ca and fresno, ca indicated that the tires are not part of warranty and recalls. My concern are: How we know as consumers, the tires is part of recalls" why the dealers or manufactures are not responsible of the reimbursement nor the safety of they are selling? how we prevent this to happen to someone" we tried to replace the tire that got blown out, but went to 4 places including dealer, costco, walmart and Firestone store, unfortunately they are out of stocks. We end up replacing all tires.
