Vehicle dashboard indicated that Airbag intermediately had issues and service was needed. Vehicle taken to dealership and had to have failing airbag replaced.
Air bag light came on like 1 year ago. I had the dealership do the diagnostic on the car. They said it was cable relay. They said estimate to repair was over $2000. I have contacted Honda Goodwill department and after several emails and phone calls they gave me an option to pay $100 and they cover the rest. I have agreed. They have replaced cable relay and everything was fine. About a month later the airbag light came back on. I went to the dealership for diagnostics and they said that its the driver side airbag that is defective and that they recommended it to be replaced. Cost with labor $1100. I wrote to Honda Goodwill again but the said they only did a one time courtesy and that i am responsible for the future expenses. The car has never been in an accident and its not my fault that there is an airbag issue. Im afraid of my and my family-??s safety when i drive the car. Please help.

The specific part is the driver side airbag inflater which is causing the airbag system to fail. The repair has not been done on the vehicle yet. The car was taken to the local dealer at the end of March 2023. The service adviser said the resistance is out of tolerance for the air bag causing the entire airbag system to fail.
