The morning after I purchased the new Civic, I noticed a smell akin to a dirty garbage pail...Definitely NOT the new car smell... It has gotten worse, and I took it to the dealer last Friday and again Monday. He found no mechanical problems or problems with A/C or exhaust systems, and told me that he could not find any vermin in the car, but told me that he actually has noted that odor in other 2014 Civic sedans.
The only option is to lease a new car (and to lose money).
Has anyone else had a similar problem with any Honda, but especially the Civic?
