Often when starting from a full stop especially when turning (more dangerous) the car will just lose power for 2-3 seconds! !! No I'm not riding the brake at all. This is extremely dangerous especially on left turns

I can't believe I am having acceleration issues like this on a brand new Honda car... I never have any weight in it and I myself am only 140lbs... My worst fear is that it's inherent with this new CVT that Honda has started using as of 2014 and it won't be able to be fixed. Hopefully my dealer can correct it for me free of charge; if they can't, I will not be buying Honda ever again.
