rodents chewing on wires due to soy based wiring by honda
I had the battery light come on in my car. I took it to the local Honda dealership and they informed me that Rodents have been chewing on my wires, causing a malfunction of the electrical system. Upon further research, I found out that Honda is using soy based wires in an attempt to go "green". The cost to fix my car was over $300. Upon further reviews many people all over the country has had the same problem. When I contacted Honda Directly they were very rude and told me they would not cover the damages. Honda said it was not a defect yet they are selling Rodent Resistant tape at over $40 a roll. American Honda is well aware of the issue and is trying to making a profit by selling this tape and having vehicle owners pay for damages, for a design defect due to Honda Negligence. I want everyone to be aware of this issue, and to take action. There are several Class action lawsuits against Honda. I want to be added to that list.
