Like the other guy, the warning lights came on when I started the car. The message read that there was a transmission problem. The car would not drive over 20 and shifted hard, both up and down. There wasn't a great deal of traffic, so I managed to get the car to the dealer. They kept the car overnight and told me that it was simply an update to the transmission computer, which I would not know anything about and of which they were unaware until they linked the computer to Am. Honda.
I was in town, so it was not as inconvenient as it could have been, but I find it completely unacceptable that a routine update disables the car. I also object to paying 100 dollars just to diagnose a problem not caused by the car malfunctioning. I will write Am Honda and file a complaint.
