Poor gas mileage,17 city, 20 highway. The car has never gotten the mileage that the sticker said it would, not even close. Had a fuel system check done, and they said everything was good. Mileage is just getting worse. I am going to sell it and get a Toyota Corolla. Very disappointed.
I am a great Honda fan. We have 4 Honda cars in our household. I traded my rather new Accord for the Civic diesel after reading about the fantastic engine, its power and exceptional fuel consumption. Honda also claims fuel consumption for this car which is off the charts, i.e. more than 75 mpg.
After having filled the car 4 times I made sure about the amount of fuel used and the kilometers traveled and low and behold the indicated consumption is out by between 17 and 19%! On one tank I actually obtained what Honda claimed but of course that is not real. To me this smacks of the mpg lawsuit that Honda lost in 2012.... I actually hoped to use some of the savings on fuel to boost my monthly installments but that does not work now.
