The car is fine, it looks nice and drives great. However, while driving through the mountains, downhill, the transmission does NOT shift down. The rpms go through the roof. I have to take it out of gear.
The other issue is when I slow down - not a rabbit stop and go - the rpm begins to drop as it should and then hangs at around 1100 rpm, and when I completely stop, the rpms suddenly drops to about 900 and the headlights will surge - only for a moment - brighter. What gives? Honda states they could not 'find an issue'. I've had it in twice while under warranty, and now I'm on my own!!!
Thanks for any help or suggestion on what may be the problem, other than Honda itself!
