This is my sons vehicle and he was driving to school and on the way he smelled gas inside the car. When he got to school, gas was gushing from the fuel line and the fire department was dispatched to the scene. The car had to be towed to the nearest Honda dealer in which he called ahead of time to let them know. They let him know that they would look at it once it arrived. It was almost three hours later after it arrived on the lot. The dealer first told me there was a pin hole and it looked like an animal chewed on it. Then the next day I was told they removed the back seat and pulled up the plate to access the fuel line and said it was cut and they have never seen this before. I said. What happened to the pin hole and the guy says. He says....Well. That’s what we thought it was. I knew with the amount of fuel pouring out that it was not a pin hole. This was a major leak and could have ended in multiple fatalities. I asked if someone could have gained access to this area and he said no, that this was above the fuel tank. Curious if others have had any similar issues that have not been reported. The Honda dealer in Southern Illinois needs to understand what customer service is. The general manager would not provide my son with any courteous ride back to school after he waited for two hours without anyone saying a word to him about the status. He had to get a cab to take him back which cost $55. Unbelievable that Honda doesn’t require their dealers to provide some type of minimal transportation. This is our second Honda purchase and most likely will be my last due to this General Manager. We have the extended warranty.....the Honda Care.....I have to say that my experience here doesn’t make me feel like Honda cares
